Improved food security and sustainable livelihoods through agricultural development, nurturing natural resources, and enabling access to microfinance and markets.
It’s a shameful injustice that millions of people do not have that most basic of human needs - enough food to eat. A more certain food supply and decent income is the top priority for many people we work with. So we’re improving food security for the poorest farmers and smallholders through agricultural development to improve yields and nurture natural resources. By connecting people with businesses and other organisations, we’re helping them to access microfinance and markets for their produce. We work to ensure that people no longer experience “hungry months” and are helping thousands of people to establish successful, sustainable, small businesses.
