We have been running an in-house street fundraising campaign since 2006, and are on the look-out for new fundraisers to help us raise awareness and vital funds from people in the Bristol and Cardiff areas.
Street fundraising is a challenging and hugely rewarding job, and an excellent entry into the fundraising and NGO sector. The job involves working outside, in teams, approaching members of the public and soliciting long term, committed donations via direct debit. Lots of energy and enthusiasm is vital, as are strong communication skills, and a resilient, confident and positive approach!
You don't need any previous experience as we provide full training when you first start, plus follow up training, regular meetings with other members of the CU team, and sessions with international colleagues working in the field.
