Mozambique
- Last year, our work helped over 40,000 of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Mozambique to improve their lives.
In Mozambique, over half of the population cannot read or write, the HIV prevalence rate is among the highest in Africa and few rural people have clean water and toilets.
So we’re working with people in communities to help them overcome these challenges and gain the skills and knowledge needed to improve their own lives. Whilst helping people with their basic needs, we also seek policy changes and improved governance for long term, sustainable impact.
