Rowanfield Junior School
Adele Benjamin and Anna Marszalek, two Yr 6 pupils at  Cheltenham decided to hold their own cake sale after hearing about the work of Concern Universal through a visit from our speaker from The Gambia, Baai Jaabang, and a follow up assembly. They decided to sell cakes during break and set about making & putting up posters, putting notices in drawers and advertising in the school newsletter. “We wanted to help poor people who don’t have enough water” the girls said. They raised over £20 and everyone loved the cakes.
